We offer some unofficial ISO builds for Xandros. These builds are self support builds and are built for testing purposes only.
Xandros Developer Edition
Xandros Developer Edition is a build that is designed for developers and offers some of the most common languages and tools used for software development. This is the system we use at PC/OpenSystems to develop Linspire, freespire and Xandros. It contains the following features:
- i3 Desktop - Popular tiling window manager that is low on resources, and maximizes usable screen real estate.
- VS Code - Popular code editor made by Microsoft. Fully open source and used by many in the OSS community including Linux kernel developers and others.
- OpenJDK 19
- .NET 7.0 SDK
- GCC
- Clang Compiler
- Python
- Rust

Xandros Community Server
This is a server system built for small and medium sized businesses. Many of our clients use our server systems in schools, factory settings, clusters, development and some retail and warehousing services. This server solution is not intended to take the place of any of the contemporary Enterprise Servers. If you need those solutions we partner with Red Hat and Oracle.
